Sensory Consult

We have experienced therapists available to consult on sensory needs and make recommendations for updates to current sensory diet and home programming. This service is meant for children who have had an Occupational Therapy evaluation within the past year. This service would be helpful for families who:

are looking for an update to a Sensory Diet
need help with improving attention
need suggestions for a particular issue, such as washing hair
need suggestions for school or community

The Sensory Consult will include:

Interview with parent and other involved professionals
Review of current evaluation and treatment plan
Review of Sensory Profile-2
Virtual or in-person visit to train family or other professionals on sensory techniques
Consult write-up with recommendations for home and school
